The Stylophiles Online Board.... So what's this all about? In short form, it's nothing more than an online message board for folks who like pens. Simple enough! To go into detail, it's a discussion board, using some very popular internet software, that allows our readers to browse through messages posted by other pen lovers, as well as post their own. We've run through several plans for this board, and have arrived at what we think is a workable starting point. It may evolve over time to refine itself, our goal is to have a place that serves our readers. For now, it's simple enough, you can visit the board by following the link below, or form the link on our main contents list page. Anyone can read through the postings, if you wish to contribute a post of your own, simply click on the "register" link and you'll be prompted to select a username. For now, we are requiring that folks sign up with a username and email address in order to be able to post to the board, this information will be kept confidential, and not used for any purpose whatsoever. While the focus of the board is the collecting and use of fine writing instruments, off topic posts are not restricted, and indeed are encouraged. We ask only that you do your best to be as polite and courteous as you would be if you were speaking to someone in person. Disagreements are only to be expected, but let's try to avoid personal attacks. We've added a seperate dedicated page for sales postings, and we please ask that you keep the "for sale" posts on the Sales Board. We're also requiring that your sales postings be limited only to those items that are directly for sale to the readers, no linking to Ebay or other online auction sites, please! You may add images to your post by entering the URL of the image in the box provided. We're also working on a short tutorial on how to add images and other HTML features within the body of your message. Adding an image to your message board posting adds interest, and can make it easier for folks to help you out if you're looking for information on a pen you've found. Of course, adding a picture or two (or more!) can be a great help when it comes to making a quick sale on the Sales page! With all that said and done, please visit the Stylophiles Online Board and have fun! copyright 2006 William Riepl Images copyright 2005 William Riepl
